Core Cannabis Course: CBCVA

Updated: Mar 24, 2023

Welcome to homework assignment CCC 1.22 of the Core Cannabis Course from Higher Learning LV. This assignment teaches students about the minor cannabinoid CBCVA. This acidic precursor cannabinoid is responsible for producing CBCV, the varin version of the major cannabinoid CBC that is a peer to CBD and delta-9 THC.

Like many varin and varin acidic precursor cannabinoids, there is little peer-reviewed scientific research about this cannabinoid.

What is CBCVA?

Cannabichromevarinic acid (CBCVA) is a minor cannabinoid and the acidic precursor to the varin cannabinoid cannabichromevarin (CBCV). Like all other varin-specific acidic precursors in hemp and cannabis, it is created by a universal acidic precursor, cannabigerovarinic acid (CBGVA).
