Broken bongs and bowls are a fact of life, say some marijuana consumers. Not so, responds Arizona's Invincibowl, an innovative company that has taken the approach of pursuing the replacement market for cannabis smokeware with some of the most durable products Higher Learning LV has ever reviewed.

Purpose-designed and build from aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel, the company's crown jewel, the Invincibowl, is joined by sibling model Invincipole to offer cannabis consumers who like to get cozy with their water bong the ability to ensure that they will never again suffer a broken bowl or downstem.
"At only $35 and $50 respectively, the Invincibowl and Invincipole are both great bargains for such durable and quality pieces of smoking equipment."
At only $35 and $50 respectively, the Invincibowl and Invincipole are both great bargains for such durable and quality pieces of smoking equipment. The company claims that both products can survive a fall from 10 feet onto a hard surface. In our opinion, Invicibowl is a great example of a premium quality product that is both designed and built in America.
Invincibowl & Invincipole
The Invincibowl is a replacement bong bowl that fits both 14" and 18" models that features a convenient in-built screen that acts as an ash catcher, helping preserve and keep clean one's bong water (resulting in improved flavor and fewer cleanings per week).
The Invincipole is a replacement downstem that is not only unbreakable, but also features a multi-hole diffuser and adjusts from three inches to just under six. Both models are available in seven colors (onyx, geranium, poseidon, siren, sundown, reign, and aerial).
"Our bowls have a similar thermal capacitance as glass, meaning identical exposure to flame will result in Invincibowl becoming only as hot as glass," explains the company on its website. Both the Invincibowl and Invincipole feature a lifetime warranty.
Secure Screens Make Life Easy
Our reviewer panel overwhelmingly liked the proprietary screen system employed by both the Invincibowl and Invincipole. Why? For one, it totally prevents loss of the screen when dumping one's ashes. This is a big deal for regular smokers. "Gone are the days where you need to buy a separate ash catcher—the Invincibowl takes care of that for you!," states the company. Plus we love the hedonistic feeling of finely crafted cold aluminum in our hands!
"Our reviewer panel overwhelmingly liked the proprietary screen system employed by both the Invincibowl and Invincipole."
Invincibowl claims that its screen system "provides an even burn with an easy pull" based on the goal of high-flow and no passage of product or ash to the water. The company notes that its system allows bong users "to easily replace their screen without the hassle of jamming it back in place and hoping resin buildup will secure it." Invincibowl claims that its screen system delivers smooth and ample airflow for up to twenty bowls between screen changes.

Chill Bongs Laugh at Hard Floors
If replacement parts like bowls and downstems isn't enough to get your attention, Invincibowl also offers a full line of water bongs made not from delicate borosilicate or ceramic that oh-so-easily shatters on modern tile and hardwood floors, but instead stainless steel. As its name implies, this strategically engineered bong features vacuum insulation to help it stay nice and cold for the duration of your sesh.
"The stainless steel bong and aluminum bowl and downstem together allow modern cannabis smokers to literally laugh at the prospect of breakage resulting from a drop."
Priced from $125 for the bare silver stainless model (our favorite) to $170 for the blingy Rainbow Mirror model, the Chill Bong series is available in nearly 20 attractive colors, including matt and mirror finishes in gold, neon pink, and copper. This is in addition to classic white and black models.
The Chill Bong offers a perfect—and highly durable—compliment to the Invincibowl and Invincipole, giving cannabis smokers a fully integrated and unbreakable solution. The three models together allow modern smokers to literally laugh at the prospect of breakage resulting from a drop.
A Team Effort
Invincibowl was founded in 2019 by Jeff Houkal (CEO), his wife Gloria, and his best friend Matt Bragd. Using his mechanical engineering skills, Houkal created a bong bowl that is not only unbreakable, but that "also resolves the issue of dreaded product loss and filthy bong water."
"Invincibowl was developed from the ingenious idea that bowls should not be expendable."
"Invincibowl was developed from the ingenious idea that bowls should not be expendable," explains the company. "Some of the most popular smoking devices are beautifully crafted and designed, but are entirely inept. How many times have you broken some part of your bong?," queries the innovative company that has based its reputation on durability.
Invincibowl's products are so durable, they are sure to become heirlooms that are gifted to future generations of smokers. Yes, they're that tough.

Q&A with Jeff Houkal, Invincibowl CEO
Higher Learning LV: "Thank you for taking the time to talk to us, Jeff. What attracted you, personally, to work in the cannabis industry? With so much opposition to the culture and commerce of marijuana, why do you give it your best every day?"
Jeff Houkal: "Working in the cannabis industry was not on the forefront of our minds when the Invincibowl was prototyped. We were just looking for a better, cleaner way to smoke that didn't cost $30 per month in bowl replacements!
"When we started the company in Los Angeles, California was already fully legal and—from our perspective—and cannabis was fully embraced. So we never really questioned the cultural opposition to the cannabis industry.
"Since launching, we have encountered multiple setbacks. For example, banking and Google ads have given us many headaches. But we give it our best to give our fellow smokers the best possible experience!"
HLLV: "What inspired you to found Invincibowl?"
JH: "My wife and co-founder, Gloria, had broken the third bowl in a week. We looked for a replacement bowl solution that did not break and effectively holds a screen, but couldn't find one. So I took my mechanical engineering skills and designed the Invincibowl. The prototype was very effective and really well received by people close to us. That convinced us to jump in and launch the company."
"The Invincibowl is constructed with a 6061-T6 aluminum body and a 304 stainless-steel sleeve and screen."
HLLV: "We've all cried tears after dropping a delicate glass pipe or bowl on a tile floor as we witness our precious borosilicate shatter into a million pieces. Tell us more about the engineering and construction behind the Invincibowl that makes it so tough. We're tech nerds and your products really stand out!"
JH: "The Invincibowl is constructed with a 6061-T6 aluminum body and a 304 stainless-steel sleeve and screen. These materials are very common in human contact applications and significant research has revealed the health safety of these materials.
"The stainless-steel, in particular, is the only thing with which the herb is ever in contact, further refining the bowl's inert qualities. This is something that other aluminum bowls can't do.
"A key feature of the Invincibowl is also its flat bottom, which provides an even burn of product and keeps the screens flat for optimal airflow. Traditionally, you would have to crush a flat screen into a rounded hole, which is difficult and nearly impossible to keep in place.
"The Invincipole was conceived after failing to find the correct size downstem with two store visits. It is difficult to reconstruct the pieces after the stem is broken. Using the same shatterproof 6061-T6 aluminum, I designed a downstem that can take the place of seven different length downstems, including three inch, 3.5 inch, four and 4.5 inch, five and 5.5 inch, and six inch.
"I designed a downstem that can take the place of seven different length downstems, including three inch, 3.5 inch, four and 4.5 inch, five and 5.5 inch, and six inch."
"We also added a patented pressure-lock-and-release taper to our downstems. This prevents the downstem from seizing in the bong while simultaneously and gently wedging the downstem into the bong so that it doesn't slip out when carbing. See our cool video to learn more."
HLLV: "What lies in the future for you and Invincibowl?
JH: "We are always working on new and innovative products. We recently added the Adaptabowl to our store. This 18 to 14mm adapter snaps to your bowl, preventing separation. But it can be easily removed with our pressure-lock-and-release tapers. Keep an eye out for more new product drops in 2023!
"In addition, our website features products from like minded companies that help create a better smoking experience. We encourage customers who like our products to check them out as well."
